Haven't been to Emilio's but have had a really hard time finding good chorizo anywhere in Richmond. I usually have to drive to Northern VA to get the quality Chorizo I like. Any sources you know of locally?? I like the smoked best but the fresh is OK for some things. I am not really fond of the brand sold at Ellwood T's.

I'm glad you found it! And Fresh Market carries (or has carried) the D'Artagnan brand of chorizo. I also saw another brand (but I haven't tried it yet) at the Carytown Ukrop's.
